Lip Services

January 1st 2023
Lip Blush Service. First and foremost! Lip blush is a great way to achieve a beautiful watercolor, airy pout. It defines the lips while maintaining a very subtle and natural look. Lip blush is not to be confused with a heavy lip stick tattoo, or lip liner tattoo. . Again, our focus is light and airy but a polished finish. Naturally wake up ready beautiful is key.
Currently I’m unable to work on women of color or with high amounts of melanin in the skin. This is because typically there is “hyperpigmentation” in the lips & the lips have to be neutralized before color is added. It is advanced method that requires a bit more lessons…it will be added soon! Please follow on IG or FB for updates.

Pre Care:
VERY IMPORTANT ****
This is a lengthy read but EXTREMELY important. **Disclaimer**
It is required that you consult with your Physician prior to taking, altering or stopping any form of medication and/or supplements, or making changes to your dosing cycles etc.
Cold sores….If you've had one, you know. If you haven't, be grateful. Some have, some haven't, but ALL of my clients need to be educated on the risk of a cold sore flare-up post lip blush treatment.
Cold sores are small sores, or blister-like lesions, that appear on the lips, chin, cheeks, inside the nostrils, and less frequently on the gums or the roof of the mouth. They usually cause pain, a burning sensation, or itching before they burst and crust over.
If you’ve EVER had a cold core or herpes (even if your cold sore was 20 years ago) I HIGHLY suggest consulting your doctor to take an anti viral medication like or similar to Valtrex before and after your procedure.
You should take this medication the day of your procedure and three days following. Again please consult with a doctor before taking this medication!
If you ignore this it could resort in a cold sore / herpes fare up (break out) when your lips are healing and it’s not pretty - also your lips WILL NOT heal correctly.
If you do not have a doctor their are over the counter or supplements to help boost your immune system, however, this is not a promised method to work.
Avoid supplements with blood thinning effects.
Supplements that have blood thinning effects include dong quai, fish oil, garlic, ginger, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, green tea, red clover, and vitamin E and should be discontinued 7 days prior to getting a cosmetic tattoo. These supplements may increase bleeding especially if you're taking blood-thinning medications like warfarin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Avoid Blood Thinning Medications. A number of medications make your blood less likely to clot ("thinner") including aspirin, Midol, Excedrin, and NSAIDs (Advil, Motrin, Naproxen, Aleve). These medications should be discontinued 7 days before and 1 day following your appointment. If you need to take something for pain opt for Tylenol (acetaminophen). Coumadin and Plavix also have blood thinning effects but it is not recommended to discontinue them due to their medical necessity.
Avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours before your appointment.
Please avoid caffeine the morning before your appointment.
Ignoring this will result in over bleeding and will resort In Very poor retention …if at all.. or worst case we will have to stop the procedure entirely.
Please start exfoliating your lips a week before your appointment. Keep your lips moisturized all day. IM UNABLE to work on dry lips. If your lips are dry I’ll have to turn you away and reschedule.
You can find great oil/sugar lip scrub recipes online.
Please send a photo of your lips in natural lighting and also feel free to send some of your lip color ideas!

After Care:
If you’re experiencing a large amount of swelling, please Ice the Treatment Area.
Applying ice following your procedure also helps to prevent bruising from occurring. A bag of frozen peas works nicely to keep the area cool.
Make sure there is a CLEAN cloth barrier between the lips and the ice.
No Exercise or heavy sweating for about seven days. Exercise is great for your health and well-being but is not advised AFTER due to swelling and bruising. Also sweating too early can push out pigment.
Keep your head elevated for the next 48 hours. This will help with swelling. Try to sleep face up. Try not to sleep with your fresh lips on your pillow case for obvious reasons.
Avoid kissing and oral sex until lips are fully healed. Make sure all scabbing is completely gone. We want to avoid infection or damage.
Do not apply makeup to the lips or near the lips for the next 2 weeks or so, or until scabbing has completely resided.
Day 1 (Day of the Procedure)
It is very important to remove the lymph fluid (clear fluid, not to be confused with puss which is green or yellow) from the surface of the skin in order to avoid heavy scabbing. Before bed, if the lips still have some dry lymph, rinse with lukewarm water, gently removing the dry lymph, pat dry and apply Aftercare provided to the lips …bruising can take place even after the procedure. Bruising will subside within 24 hours post-procedure.
Day 2 - 7
The lips may be swollen the second day as well.
Keep the skin moist at all times, do not let the lips dry out. Continue to apply aftercare every 30 minutes throughout the day. Again, do NOT let the lips dry out.
During Day1 to Day 7 (or until the scabs are gone)
Please Avoid:
Water ..aside from cleaning them or drinking.
Makeup
Excessive sweating
Sauna
Pools
Sunbathing
Spicy food
Kissing
Vaping/Smoking
DO NOT pick the dry lips.
Do not apply anything besides Aftercare (no
Vaseline, antibiotic creams, Polysporin etc).
Following the procedure, do not use creams that contain acids or ingredients that will lighten or exfoliate the lips.
The lips are a two step process! They are not complete without a second session. You can book your second session online 8 weeks after your first appointment. Not before- not too far after. Waiting too long means having to start over at full price.

Lips lasts aprox 3 years! They can be touched up every year as long as they have faded to about 40% retention.
Swelling is normal however if you're experiencing fever, rash, vomiting, serious diarrhea, puss or hot redness please contact your doctor RIGHT AWAY.

-I am tooth gem certified, and also blood-borne pathogen certified.
-Multiple tooth gems can be placed on one tooth or on multiple teeth.
-Eye protection provided, aftercare sheet provided.
18 and under: A minor will need a valid (non-expired) government-issued document that shows their date of birth as well as a photo ID. A driver’s license or state ID satisfies both requirements. Your first appointment is where we create your new eyebrows! We create the new shape! We map, choose pigment and begin your eyebrow journey.
After 6-8 weeks (this gives your brow area time to heal) I will see you back, this is where we go over all your previous work, and then some ..this appointment makes the brows pop!

Microblading is what is referred to as a manual application, this is because instead of using a machine, it is all executed by hand resulting in a very natural eyebrow look! Microblading process only reaches the top layer of the skin. As the artist I use a special pressure control best for your skin to ensure you walk out with gorgeous natural looking brows.
Although PMU stands for permanent makeup it is actually a semi permanent process and you will have to maintain your new brows��
“I have a skin condition? Can I still get Microblading?”
Skin Conditions that aren’t suitable to get microblading:
Any skin conditions that are in a constant state of unrest and shedding is not suitable for tattooing and therefore will not hold pigment well, these conditions include:
-Eczema-Psoriasis-Keratosis Pilaris-Dermatitis (your skin is constantly flaking, itching, or aggravated) -Chronic Severe Acne.
“is it painful?”
I use a numbing topical anesthetic to make sure that you are comfortable, and, yes it is very effective. I apply to the brow area for 20-30 mins before we start the procedure. I also use Epinephrine after the skin in broken to also help numb and help control any bleeding..If you choose to not receive the numbing agent this is absolutely your decision, and everyone has a different pain tolerance, but I highly suggest using it just to make sure you’re fully relaxed. I would consider some spots to POSSIBLY feel uncomfortable, but is short lived and not serious.
“What about matching my eyebrow color..and shape for that matter?”
Before we undergo any procedure we will discuss your skin type, and most importantly your natural skin undertones to choose the best pigment for you. Again, we want your eyebrows looking as natural as possible, I will walk you through the process and healing nature before we add any color I will make sure you love it first.
Shaping is so important to me, and when it comes to my perfectionist side I will not just draw on the brows first but use mathematical references to your face shape to make sure the anatomy of your brow shape is on point.
“Where were you certified?”
I was certified by “Forever Valentine Beauty” out of Philadelphia, I went though a Microblading course by an amazing artist of 20+ years by the name of Kelly Haney, she is one of the top sought after training artist in the state of Pennsylvania.
⚡️You cannot drink alcoholic at least 24 hours before your appointment. You cannot have ANY caffeine before your appointment. This will cause bleeding and could cause issues with pushing out pigment.
“How long is healing time?”
Healing time depends on the client.
It takes 6-8 weeks for brows to heal completely, going through steps of healing which will all be included in your after care instruction sheet. It is normal for brows to appear “warm” in color at first, it takes a few days-weeks for the color to heal cool into the skin.
It is normal for brows to darken, then lighten, flake, feel itchy and possibly peel. It is a process, but the end result is absolutely worth it. We will discuss this more in detail at the time of the appointment. Again, every client is different and results may vary person to person. Microblading is a great way to achieve 3-D looking brows. I suggest it for anyone looking to try a natural look!
